Prescription drug manufacturers are required to LIST the possible side effects of their medications. The most popular cholesterol, blood pressure, diabetes, depression, pain and anxiety medications all have their own side effects. These possibly include:
Liver problems; headache; nausea; severe muscle pain; sexual dysfunction; memory and sleep loss; diarrhea; addiction; increased risk of hypertension; strokes; heart attacks and suicide; tremors; weight gain…..well, you get the picture.
Exercise has side effects too!!! While our industry is not required to LIST them, we gladly do. These side effects can include:
Increased longevity; improved cholesterol, diabetes, blood pressure, brain and sexual function: positive effects on depression; reduced stroke and cancer risk; weight loss; muscle and bone strength; improvements in balance, sleep and relief of back pain…..just to name a few.
